MCO to RPR

I posted this on the transportation forum, but it doesn't seem to be as busy as this one so I thought I'd try here, too. Hope that's ok! Has anyone used Ed Korgan's car service recently? We were thinking about booking his service for our upcoming trip. My mom said she would be leary of booking an independent driver, but reviews for him seemed to be on the up and up. Just thought I'd check here to see if anyone has used him recently and has any opinions/suggestions. I really need to book something today because our trip in in a couple of weeks.

I don't know Ed Korgan but we use Murray Hill Transportation. $105 roundtrip from MCO to PBH. Always great service and a 30 minute grocery stop.

Really??? I have searched all over the place and seem to find all positives. Anyone else know about this? The only thing of concern I found was a "rip-off report" when I googled but there were over 40 rebuttals by other people saying that it was untrue... not to mention the actual complaint seemed a little silly to me, like maybe it was someone who just complains about everything and can't be satisfied. If there is something else out there I should know about or more to this complaint that I should know about, please let me know!

I have never used the guy mentioned but have used some other services that some have used and were some bad services cause some either the drivers grabed other peoples luggage for ours and then wanted to charge us to go back to the airport to get our luggage and some that the town cars seen better days and the only one we use now that seems to be pretty good is mears

Ed Korgan provided transportation for my family from MCO to RPR in December 2010. He was very courteous and professional. I was extremely happy with the service that he provided and would definitely hire him again.

we always use Tiffany Towncar. They are very reasonably priced, always on time to pick us up and very courteous and professional. There is a free 30 minute grocery stop if you want it and they will provide child booster seats etc.

I'm always cautious with independent drivers using their own car and calling themselves a "taxi service". Just do your research and make sure this guy has all the licensing required, that he has a contract stating what his fees are from start to finish, if gratuity is included etc. My sister got into a huge mess using an "independent" car company. It was a guy with his own car calling himself a taxi service. He said there was an accident on the way to her hotel and they had to go way around to get by it. She was charged for the extra mileage and the extra time spent traveling and there were a bunch of other fees he added on. It was kind of ridiculous. He also locked the doors and would not unlock them until she had given him his tip. She was scared to death. Later she called the police and it turns out there was no accident at all on that highway that day. She was not the first to call in a complaint about his service. Not long after he was shut down.

Just be cautious and do your research!

We used Murray Hill last week. Was 100.00 round trip and we were allowed a 30 minute grocery stop. Great service!
