MCO to RPR, Best route for early morning?

We'll be leaving MCO at about 7:30-8:00 on a Sunday morning to head to the RPR resort at Universal. I usually use the south exit to head to WDW so I'm wondering what the best route would be to get to Universal. Should I take the north exit to 528? Is it faster to get off 528 on Rt 4 or on Universal Blvd?

If you're not familiar with the area, I'd get off at Universal Blvd and head straight in - less chance of getting turned around, even if it takes a few minutes longer.

Check out one of the online map programs before you travel, like Bing Maps or Google Maps, to get familiar with where you'll be going. You can even use the overhead images to see some of the landmarks at places you'll need to turn.

I'm fairly familiar with the area having been there before. I just wasn't sure if there would be traffic on a Sunday morning on the 528.

Got it.

The highways are really quiet on Sunday mornings at the time you were looking at. Even I-4 is pretty wide open, and I drive it up to Longwood every Sunday morning when I'm at WDW.
