Hi! I have been looking on the boards to see if there is a similar question out there but I didn't really come up with much. All my other questions have been answered so far so lets see how this goes (you guys are awesome).

We are staying offsite at Buena Vista Palace next month. I'm trying to figure out the most effective way to get to our hotel from MCO.

Our flight arrives at MCO at 10:05am on Thursday 10/15. There are 6 adults.

Mears shuttle: $22/pp one way (total $132)
Taxi: $75 (without traffic) for a van
Towncar service: $85
Uber XL: I'm guessing somewhere around $20 - cannot pick up at airport?

What would you recommend?

Did you price out a one way rental car? Check to see what the price of a minivan or large SUV would be from MCO to one of the car rental places near your hotel. I want to say there is an Alamo very close to Buena Vista Palace. It might be the best bet so you can make any other stops that day you need as well.

I'll look into it! Very good idea. Would eliminate the need for grocery delivery too!

We usually get a town car from Happy Limo and it's $68 one way. They will also make a stop at the grocery store if you tell them in advance.

I am not a fan of the Mears Shuttle as they take multiple passengers and you have to wait for all the flights to arrive. So you could be sitting around for an hour. Then you have to drop everyone off at various locations. It's not ideal.

It ends up being $85 because we need to get an suv/minivan that can fit all 6 of us.

Mears is my absolute last choice- we are trying to get to a park in the afternoon (because we are out of our minds) so we don't have time to wait around. Plus, not cost effective for 6 adults. :sad2:
