I have found great rates on a rental car for our trip in May with Thrifty and National. We have never flown into MCO and I was wondering which company would be the best to rent with. We have never even rented a car before and I want a good deal but I also don't want anything to ruin or honeymoon. Any advice is appreaciated:worship:

I've rented from both but like National or Alamo the best. After you've gone to the desk or kiosk you go to the garage. They let you pick the car you want out of the row of the size you reserved. So if you reserve a full size car you just go to the row of cars that's marked full size and pick the one you want. All of the keys are in them. You just stop at the exit booth and pass them the tag hanging on the mirror along with you're paperwork.
With Thrifty they assign you a car at the desk and give you the keys and you go to that car in the garage.

But...if you sign up for Thrifty's Blue Chip Rewards program (free) you do not have to go to the rental car counter. Instead, you bypass this step and go directly to the parking structure across the little road and pick up your car there. Depending on day of week and arrival time, this may save ½ hour or even more of your time.

I'm confused, I was just looking at booking a rental car on southwest website with Thrifty and it said located in airport terminal. So you have to cross a road to pickup your rental vehicle?

You're on the ground level of the terminal where the car rental desks are. You just walk out the doors and across to the parking garage and follow the signs for the company you're renting from. The street is just a narrow one way street for shuttle bus pickup. (The parking garage is attached to the terminal.) It's only about 50 ft or so between the terminal building and the parking garage.
