If you’re flying from a Preclearance Airport, you won’t have to use it when you land as you’ll act like domestic passengers upon arrival, subject to random inspection by CBP. If you’re flying from a non-Preclearance Airport like Saskatoon, that’s a different story and chances are you’ll need this app.

My parents used it and said it was a gamechanger. They flew out of Halifax to Pearson to Orlando. They said it saved them tons of time in the Customs line.

It has nothing to do with which airline you are flying on. It's Customs.
