Arriving at MCO Wednesday morning(9:30am)June 22 staying at RPH for 3 nights..leaving Universal/RPH late at night on Saturday night heading to Disney(value resort) for 2 nights. We will be doing MK only on Sunday...Which is the best transportation method to do so..price, fastest etc. I am hoping I can get Magic Express back to MCO Tuesday evening???( our flight leaves 9:30 pm)

We did that exact pattern over spring break. Cab from MCO to RPH, cab from RPH to WDW, then DME back to MCO. Figure about $35-$45 for each cab leg. It's pretty convenient.

No reservations necessary. You just get in the cab line at the airport and they assign you to a cab. At RPH, the doorman out front will signal for one of the waiting cabs to come up to the pick-up area.

If you know what time you need the ride from rph to disney you can also reserve a towncar. It is "usually" a tiny bit cheaper than a cab and you can have a free $30 minute grocery stop on the way.

We like Tiffany Towncar but there are many companies that get good recommendations here on the dis. Most have a website so you can just make your reservation online.

As long as you make your one way DME reservation in advance you can take DME back to the airport.

Hmm. Not sure a town car is going to be cheaper, although it's definitely going to be nicer. One-way MCO-Universal town car fares, for example, are around $70 plus tip and a cab was significantly less than that.

That's why I said "usually" - our last town car ride was priced as a r/t even though our second leg was to WDW not the airport - charge was $95 plus tip.

Prior to that we did the towncar as a r/t from the airport to HRH and then the return from Dolphin to MCO but our cab ride from Hard Rock to Dolphin was $57 plus tip.

So again, in my experience a towncar can be cheaper. If the op is at all interested in a towncar I have found it best to look at r/t rates to universal on the website and then call to see if they can give me a reasonable price.
