MCO rendezvous point ???

We are flying into MCO on US AIR from Charlotte, and my sister/family are flying in two hours later from Philly on Delta. I believe USAIR is at terminal A, and Delta is terminal B. MCO always seems so confusing and massive when we are there, and I'm unsure where to arrange a meeting place. Obviously, with security measures in place, we won't be able to meet them at their gate--and I can't think of any other easy places in which to hook up with them after they arrive. I do remember that there's a shopping mall strip within the airport, but I can't remember if this is BEFORE or AFTER you take the tram across to the other side to collect your luggage. Would someone with knowledge of MCO please help me pick a rendezvous point??

Thanks!

The main terminal non-secured part of MCO is a rectangle where one long side is Terminal A and the opposite long side is Terminal B. In order within the rectangle are: the Hyatt hotel atrium, the center shopping mall with some moving sidewalks, and the end shopping area.

Let me suggest that you rendezvous midway between the two escalators going up half a story to the Hyatt hotel mezzanine balcony, in the giant atrium where all the hotel room balconies overlook. In the center of this huge atrium is the Christmas tree, in season.

Or you may prefer and decide in advance to meet at the hotel atrium TV (I think there is only one there in the giant first floor to entertain waiting passengers) or the end shopping area TV (I think there is only one).

If I remember correctly, the low numbered gates (1 to 30 or so) have their security in the end shopping area and the high numbered gates (99 down to 40 or so) have their security in the Hyatt atrium.

I would also recommend the Hotel Lobby on the main level. Plenty of places to sit and close stores to visit if you have a long wait.
