How many great things can I say about this company!!!! They are the greatest! So affordable (cheaper than others with the Mousesavers discount). Nice spacious air conditioned buses with TVs that play Disney movies! Very comfortable seats.... i could go on and on. Our driver, Mike, was the greatest! Very friendly and professional. He was waiting for us when we arrived at the airport. It was nice for our family to be able to get our bags loaded and get on the bus while others were being herded into the ME check in line. I would so reccomend MCO express (and I told them I would do so). Thier website is www.mcoexpress.com and they come highly recommended!!! :yay: :thumbsup2

MOO.

Important for you to keep in mind that while I was "herded" into the DME check-in line, you were grazing at baggage claim with the few hundred other passengers from your airplane, waiting for your luggage.

Personalized transportation is a great option for people who want it. I don't put it down. Why do you feel the need to put me down?

I could be wrong, or their information could be incomplete, but it doesn't appear this company provides service between MCO and Walt Disney World resorts (Old Town area, Celebration, "town" - whatever that means - golf course and other Kissimmee/192 hotels, yes); at least, they don't provide rates for Disney destinations. And, um, there's that mandatory tip issue...

Ok, see nobody was putting you down. Don't read more into it than it was. People always say that SW is a cattle call to... I fly SW all the time... do I feel put down? No. Don't be so sensitive. It's just a saying. If you prefer ME, that's fine with me. I could care less. I was just giving another option... you know like cabs, and towncars....

They will go wherever you want them to. And I don't feel bad about the mandatory tip because our driver earned it and I'm pretty sure ME has a tip built in (when it cost extra). Plus, you tip everyone else, why not your driver too?

Gotcha. Thanks for replying!

I have no problem tipping. I have a problem with a MANDATORY tip of a certain dollar amount or percentage of the rate, which it appears most town car/limo companies have instituted - not just at MCO, I'm looking for transportation from home to the airport. Instead of a mandatory tip, transportation companies should just raise their rates by 15% or $20 or whatever and give that money back to the drivers.
And thank you for clearing up the destination thing - if you're in any type of contact with them, would you consider suggesting they update or expand the rate information on their website? I'm a confirmed DME-er, but those Mercedes bus rates look DARN good!

I was looking at their rates, all of the other town car companies have better rates, and you'd get the same service.
I've used ME twice and had no problems, I used a town car service this past May and while I like the personalized service it only saved me a few minutes over the ME bus going from the airport to the resort. Going back to the airport you do get an extra 45 minutes by taking a town car instead of ME, but for the cost it really did not seem worth it.

I love Disney's Magical Express (except that it makes it expensive for me to get to Cafe Tu Tu Tango on International Drive, but with the free dining promotion, I'll survive :teeth: ) but in fairness to this MCO company, it looks like you can get one of those 13 passenger little buses for $99 for the ride, not per person.

Tips are awarded for good service. Gratuity is defined as something that is given voluntarily or beyond obligation usually in return or anticipation of some service. I personally shun away from anyone or any company who says a gratuity is mandatory. How can it be mandatory when it is defined as given voluntarily or beyond obligation. The company than can hire drivers for minimum wage and claim the tips are part of the wage. The company is in fact promoting lesser service from the giver of the service. If a driver knows his tip is in the bag, than he becomes less responsive to making the passengers happy who are are riding with him.

If you like giving your money to companies that don't want to pay their employees a decent wage, I guess you would choose to use that company and their tactics.

PS: If the drivers are making minimum wage they sure aren't professional drivers.

Katieelder,

That price is not $99. but $119.80 according to their site because of the mandatory gratuity. Plus $4.95 for credit card transaction. Plus $10.00 for phone reservation. Plus $10.00 if you called between 2200 - 0600. Plus $20.00 if you want to be met at Orlando International airport.

Your ride to International Drive would cost you at least $134.75. That is if you set it up by phone and would probably use a credit card to guarantee it. Don't call between 2200 - 0600 or it will be more. Doesn't sound like a good deal to me.

We must be looking at a different website. I see a R/T price of $129 (plus all the extras) to the Celebration hotel but around $178 (plus extras) to other hotels in the Kissimme area.

edited to say it looks like you're look at one way rates I see $90 plus the extras. It's still not clear what the rate will be to a WDW resort. Is there any doubt that they'll add on the MK fee for MK resorts?

This may be a good company, not cheap, but it looks like they're geared/priced for normal limo service and not for airport transfers. I don't see any mention of a grocery stop and that's one of the reasons for selecting a towncar as opposed to using DME.

You're local. Have you ever heard of them?

Lewisc,

Have not heard of the company or seen their busses. The price I took was from Katieelder post of $99. The extras I found on the site provided was the rate sheet which I think you have given the link to. If you are permitted in Orlando and the airport you can drop off at Disney, because you were able to pick up at the airport. I to, do not understand why there was no price for Disney on the site. The link up top, of this thread, takes you to the home page. The link you provided is a sub page for that site.
