More info needed! Which model? What did they look like? My Costco doesn't have them yet...

Oh dear, sorry - should have gotten more info!! :goodvibes We haven't used a stroller in a long time so I didn't really pay attention to all of the details :sad2:

I will try and get a more detailed scoop today and report back. I DO know that it weighs 17 lbs, is navy blue, has a full rain-boot and a pull down "roof" part to keep the weather out.

Well...after being a Combi advocate on these boards for quite some time, I broke down this afternoon and bought this Maclaren. My 2 yo DD is big (33 pounds) and our Combi is starting to wear down. We're still debating on whether or not to keep it. Gotta love the Costco liberal return policy. I asked 5 employees whether or not I could return it even if I had an open box. No problem was the response from all.

Anyhow...the one at my Costco is the 2005 Maclaren Global Buggy. It's pretty nice and seems to be a hybrid between my beloved Combi and my giant Peg Atlantico. My biggest objection to Maclaren's has always been the tiny, inacessible basket. This model has a very generous and easily accessible basket, so I am pretty pleased. DH and I put it together after DD feel asleep, so a test drive with her tomorrow will be the deciding factor.

My local BJs is selling them as well (NJ).

FYI- The Global Buggy has a removable bumper bar in front of the child's seat. This means that it can hold many of the baby buckets (a.k.a. infant car seats) on the market. This is a great sollution to those of you looking to downsize from a monster-sized travel system.

Update: Ok, my Costco in Oregon is carrying the Maclaren Techno w/ full boot.

Techno Classic, that is!
