I heard that they met once. It's was a desperate move, a political stunt. They have the headlines now but when we really get to know her I think McCain will have buyers remorse.

I agree. I like her for PTA president just not the US Vice President. I loved Hillary's politics. To assume that we Hillary supporters would vote for Palin is just absurd not to mention a little insane. McCain keeps solidifying how completely out of touch he is.

That has to be one of the most condescending things I have heard today. Not that being the first elected female Governor is not something that she should be congratulated on, in a state where the population is 2 males to every female.

No she's a girl, so let's make her PTA President.

She's the one spouting her accomplishments, one of them being the PTA president. If that's one of the worst things you heard today, you must have just arrived. At times it's been brutal.

My opinion is about Palin, please don't take it personally.

I don't mind McCain picking a woman but why one so inexperienced? I heard that Kay Bailey Hutchinson was a consideration (and that would have scared me) but that makes sense. Palin may be smart and wonderful but she definitely needs more experience IMO.

Well, here is where we can agree, if you are looking for a woman, there are certainly many women out there who have governing experience, foreign policy knowledge, who would be a much better fit for the job. Not that I would agree with their ideology, but I could certainly respect someone like Kay Bailey Hutchinson.

Personally I think it's a great move that he did pick such an inexperienced woman who has plenty of holes to fill, it's a great move - for Obama that is....
