Rush makes racist comments, therefore anyone who listens to Rush must also be a racist.

To me, that's no different from saying:

Rev Wright makes racist comments, therefore anyone who listens to Rev Wright must also be a racist.

Now, as I said on the Rush thread, I don't ascribe to that. I believe people can listen to either of those men and agree with some of what they say and disagree with other things they say.

Sadly, the term is being so overused and exploited people are becoming de-sensitized to it. The misdirected use of the word is causing more division instead of more awareness.
