MB+ Question

Hi,

I received my MB+ in the mail. I charged it up, paired it with my phone, picked my color, etc. When I turn it on it always reverts back to green. When I attempt to turn it off it does not do anything. I have read several things online that state it should buzz/vibrate upon powering off and on. Did I get a dud?

I have watched many YT videos. None of these videos really address this particular topic.

How are you trying to turn it off? You should use the button, and it should beep/vibrate twice for power off. You can also try to reset it by holding the button until it beeps/vibrates 3 times.

That's normal. It will flash green anytime you power it up, but will still flash with your chosen color for the interactive stuff.

I am doing exactly what you said and it is not responding. I have done everything from a quick push to holding it for about 5 seconds.

So with mine, from an off status here's what happens:

- press button on back - 2 quick vibrates, green light flashes around
- the band is now on (and interactions will use the light color(s) you chose in the app-
- press and hold button the back - after about 3 seconds, there's one quick vibrate - if you let go of the button at this point, it pulses blue to put it into pairing mode
- if you keep holding the button past that first single vibrate, for about another 2 seconds, it will do the 2 quite vibrates again - let go and it will flash red all around and turn off

Continually press the button until you receive the number of necessary vibrates. It will probably be more than 5 seconds.

2 vibrates for power on/off
3 vibrates for reset
