Hi, all - I know this is on here somewhere, but I’m on my phone, searched and got a ton of unrelated results. Can I give one of my backup MBs to my sister for room access only? If so, will it screw me up if I’m, say, in a park? Might be better/safer to just add her name to the room, but if it’s unneccessary... Many thanks!

Sure you can share a MB with your sister. It will not impact you but you do need to make sure that it opens your room before you give it to her.

Another option it to get a room key card at the front desk to give her or have the front desk hold one for her and add her to your reservation.

If she is staying in your room she should be on the reservation.

Just FYI that if you already have two adults (18+) on your room reservation, adding her would incur extra persons charges on your room. I believe the best options are the ones PP mentions.

Theoretically, you can give her one of your old bands and it will work just fine. However, some resorts (Y&BC specifically) only allow one band per person to open doors and other resort-specific functions. That same restriction goes for key cards as well. At Y&BC, this is to prevent non-guests from gaining access to Storm-along Bay. If you're at one of those resorts, you'll need to add her to the reservation if you want her to have access to your room without you.

Thanks, all - I’m at BLT. I got her a key card, but they confirmed that she can use a MB as well.
