and maybe this is the wrong forum (sorry if so..) but where would be a good place for me to get more info on the fireworks/parades at the parks?? i see mention of wishes, spectromagic, illuminations, etc, but i would like to find the times, best viewing areas, that kind of thing....tia for any help!!!

You can get the official times from the official WDW website. They only post the official hours a few months in advance but you can get some general idea by looking at historical hours here on the DIS: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/hours.htm#hm-parkhours-quicklink

As for where the best viewing areas are you might just do a search on this forum. Everyone seems to have their favorite spots.

The best way to really get info is to just spend lots of time reading different posts on the various boards. Everything you could possibly want to know can be found here on the DIS. You might also check out Deb's site at www.allearsnet.com

Whatever you do in Epcot, make sure you don't pick a spot downwind of the fireworks. The best way to judge which way the wind is blowing is to look at the flag on top of the American Pavilion to see which way it is blowing and choose the best spot opposite of that direction. I always check it & choose my spot accordingly.
