I keep meaning to update this thread, but then I get sidetracked with something else.

Anyway...
The For Sale sign on our front lawn now has a Sale Pending sign added to it!



It didn't take long for the buyers for our house to get a buyer for their condo, so now everything has been moving forward. We have a closing date of January 21st.
Our house inspection turned up a few minor issues. They were all maintenance type of things- pumping the septic tank, cleaning and inspecting the furnace, and fixing a leaky sink faucet. We agreed to putting $2,000.00 in an escrow fund for any pool issues that might be discovered when the buyers open the pool next summer. The pool is covered for the winter, so they couldn't really inspect it. We've never had any problems with opening the pool, so hopefully we'll get that money back.
Now it's time for us to get serious and start looking for a house to buy in this part of the country.
