Well, I was at a friends today, and we looked on the DisneyWorld Official website, and there was videos and images for each park and resort on their pages.

I come home, and plan to show them to my girlfriend, and they are nowhere to be found :confused3

Maybe Im looking in the wrong place, or maybe somehow the websites updated in my friends area and not mine

Either way, any help, or even confirmation that Im not going insane would be greatly appreciated

On the official website if you click on the Parks tab and then select the park you want, at the bottom of the picture, on the left hand side, you can click on photos/video. So to answer your question, no, you are not going nuts.

Sanity check complete. Sound mind confirmed. ;)

This is where I seem to remember it being at my friends, but mine seems to be different.

It looks like this if it helps

That is the same page I was on. Did you try clicking on the parks tab and selecting a park/on the resort tabs? It brings up the selected park page/list of resorts (you select a resort so an extra step to go through on that one). For what it is worth, I am logged in when doing this, but it should work regardless so I doubt that has anything to do with it. If you haven't signed up with the site maybe you could give that a try. On the picture I get there is a little "play" icon at the bottom left of the main picture on the resort pages, one that says photos, and one that says videos. If you hit the play icon it plays the videos. Not sure if you have got this to work yet but it is definitely working for me.

you may be on the UK site, go down to the bottom of the page to where it says select and international version and change to US English :)

I remember seeing that icon at my friends, but it just not appearing on my pc

Still nothing, maybe its my internet? I dont know :confused3

Are you using a different internet browser? It seems to work fine on both US and UK sites using Internet Explorer.

I was using Google Chrome, which was also what my friend was using. I tried with Internet Explorer, but still no luck, I really dont understand the problem :confused3

Do you have Javascript up to date? Or any type of security feature that may have turned scripts off?

Right, so I tried installing Java and what not, even uninstalling what I had and reinstalling, but still no luck.

So, I thought, maybe its my laptop? So, I tried my brothers pc, which is new, expensive and flashy, but still no luck

Is it possible for the update to have somehow not reached my area? (my friend does live in a different borough to me).

Maybe its my internet provider?

I have no clue at all :confused3

I don't have any answers for you on why it isn't working. :confused3 But it isn't a new update. I watched those videos and slide shows a couple of months back at least so I don't know why you are having a problem. I take it you have done the usual clearing cookies and all that? I mean I can open the page and post the link and you can try, but I suspect if you are having problems now, the link is going to do the same. Urgh, I would be so frustrated!!

Did you specifically want to watch the park/resort vids on the DIsney website? There are others if you want to have a look in the meantime.

Its more the fact that Ive seen it with my own eyes and I cant get it to work for myself for whatever reason that is irritating me, I guess I'll have to give up and look for videos elsewhere.

Thanks for everybodys help though

Oh it would have been driving me nuts by now!! You are very patient!!!

What videos, aside from the parks, were you specifically wanting? We can all post you some of our favourite links if that helps. :goodvibes

Well, I was planning on showing her the videos for the parks, aswell as for the value hotels. (I know we're not going for quite some time, but we're obsessive planners, Im sure we're not the only ones though :thumbsup2)

Thanks for all your help by the way :goodvibes

I was just wondering, and forgive me for asking, are you sure you are on the right page? I went back to look at the screenshot you posted and looking at the image, you are not on the same page as I am when I see the video/photo/slideshow icons.

That picture you show is the home page. Did you click on one of the tabs above that says Parks or Places to Stay? You should then get a dropdown box to select a park/resort respectively. For example, if I click Parks, select MK the picture is of the Partners Statue in front of the castle and that is where the icons appear. I wasn't sure when you put that screenshot into your post if it was just to show that you were on the official US site and didn't realise until now.

How strange :confused3 It pulls up a different pic for me. I didn't mean to sound insulting by the way. I just noticed when I went onto Disney.com this evening (besides that the mystery has been bugging me )
