My 5 year old just confirmed your deer is a fake lol. She said the red was just paint. She even took a pen and pointed to the horns and said, "Well this is a reindeer, the nose is painted.". She then pointed to the nose and said, "Look, you can see the brown. It's just red paint.".

No pulling the wool over her eyes !

The nose is fake, but the deer is real. The picture was taken in the local forest preserve.

We have more deer here than you can shake a stick at.
