Maybe a stupid question - extend an AP??

DH and I have APs - we were only able to use them once this past May and were going to use them again for our upcoming trip at CBR (we were upposed to be leaving on Thursday) However, my husband has kidney stones and we are pretty certain he will need to have surgery - because he may be out of work for a week, we will most definitely need to reschedule after our passes expire (which is 5/2/04). Because of this, he will not be able to take more time off work until at least 2 or 3 months later. DH thinks that perhaps Disney will give an extension to us on our APs because of this but I do not think so. . .I guess it couldn't hurt to ask, right? What does everyone think?!?!?

There are no extensions. If they made an extension for your circumstances, Disney would have to then entertain all SORTS of "but we were going to go again this year ... honest!" situations. Hotel reservations and such can be cancelled, extended, re-done, etc. Annual passes are annual passes. Good for one year, for better or for worse. Sorry! (But good luck with the kidney stones!)

:earsboy:

I would call the AP passholders line and ask to speak to a supervisor if necessary and see how it goes - perhaps with a doctors letter or something they will give an extension

You never know until you ask

Good Luck!

thanks

You never know. I had a friend who went to guest services to complain because her AP kept failing and they extended her and her families AP's 3 months to cover their next trip (total of 4 people)!
