I got the best Mother's Day present ever - 4 nights at FW!

This was very unexpected, and I'm so excited to be coming back this summer. My husband had already made our reservation for June 7-11. We just tried to add an extra night (the 6th, thanks to an Airtran schedule change) only to learn that the cabins are FULL.

This is our 5th trip to the Fort, and we've been there during some pretty busy times. I've NEVER seen the cabins even close to full - even at Christmas 2009 we had no problem getting a last minute reservation for the week before. The reservations people said there are plenty of campsites open, and we did get a room at another resort for that one night, no problem.

Am I missing something? Are some of the cabin loops closed off? Big school trips? Anybody know?

Most importantly - we get to come back to FW! I don't care if it's crowded!

We are DVC members, Disney has been full at all resorts for the past 4 years more so then ever. FW is very popular and might be the only reason you could not get a cabin.

Keep trying, someone may cancel.

I agree. Keep checking...maybe several times a day. There are often cancellations. Even check again when you check in.
