Maybe A Little Nit Pick

I guess I have too much time on my hands but there is something in the OKW Intro on the WDW site that has been nagging at me. Maybe some of you can give your opinion. When you play the Intro there is a shot of an older man and woman in rocking chairs. This just doesn't look like anything at OKW. The room door is red -- there is a stone wall by their feet -- just doesn't look right. Is this somewhere at OKW I've never seen or is it possibly from either VWL or HHI? What do you think?

I can not get that picture. All I get is the full view of the pool area shot from a distance. Any suggestions on how to get the picture??

Click on the virtual tour button, it's near the bottom right of the screen.

Yes, click "Virtual Tour" then you should get a shot of the bridge followed by the picture I'm talking about.

That definitely is POR. There is a similar mistake as well in the free WDW planning video. They show one of the resorts ..OKW I think but the pictures are of BCV or maybe it's the other way around...very strange.

Definitely POR(Dixie Landings). In the DVC promo video they also use shots of The Carribean Beach Resort .

If you look closely at the upper left corner, there is a sign that says "16" (as in building 16?). I can't read what it says for the resort name.

Here's a photo of part of building 14 at PO-Riverside. You can see that the building sign, lettering, shutter style and banister railing are all similar in style to the OKW picture.

How strange to have another resort's photo on the OKW page. You'd think the people designing the page would know the resorts.

LOL!! Actually, I've got two cousins who are umps.

I just didn't think the photo "fit" with my image of OKW. I can't find it now but there's also an outdoor shot somewhere of BWV that I think is actually a rose garden suite at BWI. I guess the resorts really are interchangeable.

Lisa, you're better than me picking up the signage! So, you folks think it's POR, not VWL or HHI? Strange that it's not at least a DVC!

I agree, it does look like POR...probably some intern - for the site deign co. - assigned to assemble the pro shots...and figured no one would notice this one "slipped in"...

I can not judge if it is OKW or POC, but I can say that it is not HHI or VWL. HHI buildings are very dark colored on the exterior
