Actually, the pain wouldn't not be related to knee pain that leads to a replacement but the pain would be different like a lot of pain in the back of the knee (s).
I am having my gallbladder out Tuesday and all of a sudden I am getting pains from my ovary to me knee. I was wondering about the gallbladder myself. Did you ever find out if this was your cause of the knee pain?

I've been getting this EXACT pain for a few years now. After several exams, blood work, and ultrasounds to rule out ovarian cancer, I still have no idea why this happens. It comes and goes, and on my doctor's advice I've kept a calendar, and for the most part it happens about halfway through the month (if you know what I mean), so I think it has to do with ovulation. The pain is quite severe at times.
P.S. I had my gallbladder removed about 9 years ago; and this pain that I get now is on my LEFT side, so not the same side as where the gallbladder was.
