Maya Grill

Can anyone tell me about it? Is the food good? How is the atmosphere? Is it nice for a night out for Dh and I go with out the kids.

We were there in May of 2007...we found it rather quiet but we had a 5:45 pm ADR...not as themed as some TS restaurants at WDW, but the food was very good. We had the mixed grill...ribs, fish, and filet. However, I think there are other restaurants at WDW that are more romantic and better food than Maya...depending on your likes, I guess. I personally think Tony's would be romantic for couples with the Lady and the Tramp Theme.

We were there in Nov and it was the best meal we had after cali grill. i also had the mixed grill. it was very quite and would make a nice romantic meal.

Me and hubby made adr for maya, and the food stunk, it was more expensive, than if we ate at the Pepper market, which that breakfast there was sooooo yummy!!
I was dissapointed by the quality of a nice restruant.
My advice, eat at the Pepper market!!!

My DF grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil and he loved the Maya Grill when we ate there in May 2007. He said that it was the closest to the food that he is used to back home. I am a very picky eater so I had the steak. But I would have to agree it was pretty good. The service was awesome.

of course it was more expensive than Pepper market, that is a counter service restaurant and Maya Grill is a table service.
