Anyone been to these recently, and what did you order? Any reviews would be greatly appreciated.

Here is my review from August on the DP.
We dined there the last week of August. I had the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and DH had the Caribbean style chicken role. There were no appetizers for the kids. DD had the chicken parm and liked it. DH and I both had the mixed grill. It had St. Louis ribs, filet mignon, and the catch of the day which was Mahi Mahi. It came with lots of grilled veggies and I had mashed potatoes, and DH had a backed potatoes. There were fried onion straws on top of the steak and potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and was delicious, the Mahi Mahi was also grilled, and was outrageous. Now my DH and I are not fish eaters. I only eat shrimp, but decided to be adventerous. The Mahi Mahi was so good, it didn't taste fishy and was awesome. The ribs were so soft, and the meat fell off the bones. The veggies were great, and so were the potatoes. I could not eat all the food, neither could DH, I left some ribs, lots of potatoes, and some veggies. For dessert I had the vanilla creme brulee, and it was good. DH had the chocolate cake. DD had a scoop of ice cream. The food was excellent, and we would eat there again with the dining plan.

The only thing is the actual cost of our food was107.69 and that included tax. The restaurant was only getting 68.76 and that included tax and a 15% gratuity of $8.51, on a discounted price of $56.76. Once seeing the two receipts DH left the server an extra $10.00 tip in cash.

Go and enjoy, and please don't forget to tip your server an appropriate amount for the actual cost of your meal.

I hope this helps!

Seems these 3 are not "regulars" when it comes to dining reviews-- can help with the Maya Grill breakfast (if you want) but otherwise, maybe someone can help with the dinners???
Never been to Cpt Jacks, and only once for breakfast at YC Galley. And never to Maya grill for dinner since they changed the menu a few years back.

To JoiseyMom, which restaurant was the review for? Sounded good :thumbsup2

We had lunch at the Yacht Club Galley a couple months ago. My review is at http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=978627 .

Short Story: Food was generally OK with some items good others less so. Prices reasonable by Disney standards. If you're looking for a simple and reasonably-priced sit-down meal in the Epcot resorts, this is a good option. But it's not a dining destination -- just a choice of convenience. I would choose it over Big River Grill or Garden Grove (Swan). If you're looking for sandwiches, I'd prefer Beaches & Cream or ESPN Club.

Dh and I went to the Yacht club Galley a couple of weeks ago for dinner.
I got the Braised beef sandwich and really didn't like it at all. The flavors were so strong all mixed together like that, I could smell the dish coming my way before the server got to the table. I had to force myself to eat any of it. It had blue cheese, onions, marinated portobellos, balsamic reduction, maybe even wine.... I'm sure it was prepared correctly, it just wasn't my taste at all. Dh got the Herb roasted chicken and his was edible. I ended up eating half of his mashed potatoes. He said the chicken was a little dry and flavorless though. I don't think we'll go back there, not because the food wasn't cooked exactly as it says in the menu, just because it didn't suit our tastebuds. However, our server was attentive and there was no one else in the restaurant so it was nice and quiet.
It was expensive for us to walk out hungry- but, now we'll know for next time!
