Hi. Has anyone ever ordered Maya Grill to go (and carried it back to the room)?

I'd like to eat there on our arrival night but I don't want my DS12 up too late on our first night. We have to be at the AllEars party at 6:45 the next morning. It would nice to get takeout. On the DxDP so it would be a whole lot of food to carry.

Disney TS restaurants generally don't allow takeout. However, Maya Grill is not a Disney restaurant.

What about Pepper Market...for sure you can carry out from there. Unless what you're really after is a TS meal for your deluxe credit - I know CS meals don't include appetizers.

I think CSR has room service...but that's 2 credits.

If you are staying at CSR I think they may let you do that, especially if they are not busy. It would really come down to asking once you get there. Worst-case scenario, they say no...so you sit down, eat a quick dinner and ask for dessert to go (if you are ordering dessert). Or, as someone already suggested, you can get dinner to go at Pepper Market.

Most, if not all, TS restaurants do not allow take-out orders, so if you are extra polite and you happen to be there on a slow night, they may let you. :)

While not a full take-out request, I was there last Friday night and was too full for my dessert (day 9 of DxDDP and had been battling a draining cold for a few days as well). When the server asked about dessert, I asked if any would "travel". The only one he could offer me was the Flan (which I wasn't interested in). Don't know how the apps and entrees would be, and surely the menu wouldn't be completely open (Queso Fundito to go would be a real mess!) It can't hurt to ask though.

If all else fails, skipping an entitlement (app/dessert) would help shave some time, or visiting the Pepper Market would also work. Not the best use of Dx credit, but some value > no value. (And due to the way it's set up, it's not going to hurt the bottom line that much).
