DH and I are going in Dec. and I can't make my mind up. Should I stick to the Maya Grill or WCC. There are mixed reviews about Maya Grill that is why I am thinking of switching what should I do?? Does anyone have pictures from the Maya Grill?

We have only done Maya Grill for breakfast and it was okay; we hope to try dinner next year. Personally, we won't be going back to WCC. DH got sick after eating the skillet's chicken or ribs (those were the only two items I didn't eat and I didn't get sick). We thought it was overrated as far as the food.

We just got back and ate at Maya Grill for dinner one night. Since we were staying at All Star Movies we had to take a bus to Animal Kingdom and then a bus from Animal Kingdom to the Coronado Springs. It took forever as on the way we stopped at Blizzard Beach. I'm glad we allowed for extra travel time. Our reservation was for 5:30 but they took us early. The filet was just ok. I got the mixed grill and the steak was just ok but the ribs were really good. The kitchen is very slow and we spent 2hrs at the restaurant. I would not go there again.

No problem. I said to my DH as we were leaving Disney a few weeks ago that in our seven stays at CSR we have never tried Maya for dinner and we definitely need to do it. I've seen some good reviews on it, and some poor. But then I've seen good and bad on WCC. It is so hard to recommend places to eat because, just like resorts, every one has different tastes and expectations. We've heard great things about WCC and Brown Derby and we didn't like either one. Yet, we've heard negative reviews about Yak & Yeti and Biergarten, and we love both of them. I think the best bet is to look at the menus and choose the one that looks like it has the most to offer and try yourself. Then if you don't like, try the other one next year.

We really liked the Maya Grill on our last trip - they especially have wonderful selections on the children's menu (and that is certainly tough to find in WDW).

We didn't really like Whispering Canyon all that well - we all had the skillet and the food was all dried out and cold, and we waited 45 minutes past our ADR. The service was really good, though.
