Has anyone tried this place? We have one final slot open for a breakfast (and it's a day when we're not visiting any theme parks...so we don't want to use a park pass just for breakfast).
We have never been inside Coronado Springs and honestly, it seems to be one of the least talked about resorts.
Would like to show the kids (and us!) someplace new...and was wondering if people have enjoyed this breakfast.
(And any opinions on the "Fresh" breakfast at the Dolphin? That's another place we haven't explored!)
Thanks everybody.

I've eaten at Coronado's Breakfast, nothing really stands out of my mind as good or bad. They had decent food: eggs, fruit, and some other things. If you've never been to Coronado it has a neat theme. From what I remember it was a pretty decent price, or it was a year ago when I was there.

It's a standard breakfast buffet--scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, cereal, ete,etc--the one "specialty" item is a breakfast burrito, which Mrs. Uncleromulus seems to enjoy.
We always do Maya Grill for breakfast each trip--Coronado is a pretty resort and would be nice to see. Their "Disney" store aften has items that we don't see in other resorts--I found a watch there that I'd never seen anywhere else on property.
Fresh has been reviewed several times on the board--we've never done it, but may give it a try in October.

We tried it this past spring. Standard breakfast to say the least.

Just ok..over priced for what it is. Needs to be in the $8 range or less. I wouldn't go again. Definately wouldn't make a special trip over.

Fresh at the Dolphin...is very good. Fresh is the key word..it is like a buffet, only most things are made fresh..right in front of you.
We would definately go there again.

We did the breakfast buffet there twice when we stayed at CS two nights before we checked into our DVC resort. We enjoyed it and found it very good. Not crowded, good food, pleasant staff.

We may try this breakfast buffet when we stay at CSR in October. Does anyone know of any other good non-Disney restaurants that aren't too far away from CSR? I'm just trying to make a list before we leave home in case we don't always want to have our meals at the resort or at the parks.

We ate there twice during our stay last year and enjoyed it very much. I know it's no Chef Mickey's but we liked the food there.

My wife and I ate there on one trip when we stayed at CSR. We didn't care for it because it was (as already mentioned) overpriced and service was barely average. It's not some place we would make any effort to go back to.
