We are traveling to Disney in Oct. In the past we've eaten at W. Pucks & Maya grill with no problems, in fact Pucks has been one of my favorites. It's been a while since we've been to these places. I was looking at reviews on tripadvisor and both of these places had a lot of really bad reviews. I was surprised. I'm now scared to make ressies there. Has anyone here been to these places recently? and could you please share your thoughts?
Thanks

If I read anything on Trip advisor I take it with a grain of salt. I am going to WPE on our October trip.

We used to love both. We don't bother with either anymore.

Maya Grill used to have unique Nuevo Latino offerings. Now, it's just a steak and chops house for conventioneers. They still have a couple of unique appetizers, but not enough interesting dishes to tempt us.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe was a long-time favorite. But, now it is the designated DDP restaurant for the restaurant group that also operates Fulton's and Portabello Trattoria, they have reduced the menu offerings significantly and brought their costs more in line with the DDP reimbursement scheme. It's lost the flavor and flair we loved it for.

Just ate at Wolfgangs Puck Cafe last month. We have always LOVED everything about this restaraunt- food, service, view. Well this visit the service was horrendous!!! Half an hour before drink order was taken and we sat in that little weird room that is to the right when you walk in. (if the service would could I am sure I wouldnt have cared!)

THe food was all wonderful and well prepared but the service just killed it! It might have been her first night - they really need a good front end manager.

Just a quick follow up. As I mentioned in the original post - I've been reading alot of bad reviews about W. Pucks. We just got back. Had dinner at Pucks. I thought it was great. Food and service was very good. One of our best table service meals.
