I hearby declare the best bread and dipping oil in WDW is at Maya Grill, CSR!
DH and I had another errand that a way. So earlier this afternoon I made an ADR for Maya Grill.
yummy, yum, yum
The soup was New England Clam Chowder. (We did not order any.)
The catch of the day was Perch.
The special was beef tips with shrimp. It sounded very tempting. But for some reason I wanted a baked potato tonight!
WE just ordered ice teas to drink.
The wonderful bread and dip came out.
LOTS of garlic and fresh herbs in oil. It was so yummy. That and an appy and I would have been set. They gave us 6 rolls.
DH ordered rack of lamb, that came out like those lamb lolly pops and they surrounded a pile of veggies, which I think he said included plantains.
I ordered charbroiled chicken breast, that came with a baked potato and grilled veggies.
Their veggies are SO good grilled up.
My dish included two large, juicy pieces of boneless chicken. One plus some of the first are in our frig, along with the veggies. It was a lot of food to try to eat along with the two fresh rolls I gorged on! The chicken was very yummy and drizlled with some sort of creamy sauce.
DH said the lamb chops were very good. But he actually likes the lamp chops at Turf Club better. (The sauces used at Turf Club really make their dishes.)
A big thumbs up. I would return just for the bread an dipping oil!
Too full for dessert. But on the way out we stopped at the new Rix's express area and got a few desserts to go. And that was so yummy too!
Hit my evening off with a cup of tea and a piece of GOOD German Chocolate cake.
Tasted like a big ol Mounds bar, only better!
There was some Christmas sale items in the gift shop too.
50% off! And some other items were on sale -- mugs, antenna toppers, etc.
