May Vacation

We are going for 4 days to BLT in May too :):)
Getting to use those 2014 resale points member services let us bank in late Feb when our contract closed-it's a bonus trip since we thought those points would be lost AND so many people switched to Poly on Feb 25 we were able to get into our first choice

ouch:( but boyohboy, those new painless, stable knees are going to be fantastic for walking around WS - and that can be your happy thought to count backwards from 100 with:goodvibes)

best wishes for a wonderful vacation, and a super-speedy recovery, bobbie

Thank you, thank you! Walking at Disney, being able to climb back onto a boat after snorkeling, and riding my bike to the boardwalk in Cape May are the 3 things I most look forward to being able to do!

Bobbi,
My dad had two total knee replacements this past June. Last week he joined my son and I at Great Wolf lodge and another indoor water park for four days. He was literally running up all the stairs to go down the slides. He rode more slides than me. He was like a giddy little kid again. It was so cool to see him moving around pain free for the first time in twenty years. The recovery will be tough, but push through and work hard in your PT and it will all be worth it. Best of luck!

Wow, thank you for that! Today my DH came with me to a joint replacement class, where I got a glimpse of what to expect. I can picture your dad in my mind, and I am smiling!:goodvibes

Well, please PM me if, when you come this summer, we can have a mini meet by the sea!

Bobbi:wave:

22 days til BCV and AKV!!!

Bobbi - in the class did they talk about taking premed before dental appointments? Just curious what surgeons are saying, because the ADA just put out a new study that says it isn't necessary anymore. Wondering if the surgeons are in agreement (I'm in the dental field).

I don't want to look at my ticker for the May trip, otherwise it'd be akin to watching the clock tick slowly at work. :duck:
