May trip

Hi! does anyone know if the first or second week of May would be better. My dh and I will be bringing two of our granddaughters for their fourth birthdays. I would like to go during the slower week if possible. THank you!

I already have a trip planned for May 3-8. I just found out May 1-3 is Bats Day, a big Goth event. I heard due to this the second week of May might be better. I'm hoping we'll only overlap with the crowds on the 3rd (we probably won't even go to the parks that day anyway) and the rest of the week will be less crowded...
