Introduction
This is my first pre-trip report. I have a previous trip report that was boring and tedious. This time I plan to do the report more in real time. We will see how that works
Goal: Maximize Star Wars exposure in the parks
Cast: My family consists of me, my husband, and are now 9 year old son. This will be our 4th trip to WDW as a family in 5 years. We took one year to do Disneyland.

Me:
Character/Movie - Mary Poppins
Park - Epcot
Non-ride Ride - Enchanted Tiki Room
Ride Ride - Tie between the Tea Cups and People Mover
Snack - Dole Whip and Mickey head Rice Krispy Treats

Memory - We arrived for my first WDW trip as a kid on July 4th. We didn't go to the park that day, but we watched the MK fireworks from across the lake. They are still the most beautiful and fantastical fireworks that I have ever seen.

Background:
I started planning this trip in April of this year after our Spring Break trip. I stumbled upon the Star Wars Weekends 2015 thread and found what really feels like a home. It's a great group of people led by the fearless @yulilin3, whose goal is camaraderie and maximum Star Wars at Disney World. This used to mean Star Wars Weekends, but alas, they were canceled for 2016. I had already done my touring plans, had ADRs and FP+ planned and ready to be booked, and the hotel reserved for an early June trip.
Once rumors surfaced that SWW may be canceled, but there could be a Star Wars presence in the Spring, I booked the hotel and ADRs for a March trip. So, I am awaiting info to see if the fireworks will continue through our Spring Break. I guess I am planning two trips, but we will only take one. We have already experienced one defeat with SWW being cancelled, but hopefully, the force will be with us, and Disney will announce the fireworks and possible dessert party info soon. We are also hoping for additional things, like character meals. They have already announced Launch Bay, a new Star Tours scene, some new food items, fireworks, and a dessert party. They just haven't given any dates for the fireworks and dessert party. Keep an eye on this thread for more info.
