May, September or December?

We have a baby coming in September of this year, so we are planning our next trip for 2007. I want to travel at off peak times so that I don't have to deal with crowds. Our options are May, September or December.

May: The baby will only be 8 months old. We will be able to do a water park, which we really want to do. We won't have to wait forever for the trip to get here. But, there's nothing really special about May.

Sept: We've done this month before and LOVED it. We'd be able to celebrate both our anniversary and the baby's first birthday during this month. And it's stillw arm enough to do a water park.

December: We'd go early in the month to avoid crowds. We really want to see Christmas at Disney, but probably wouldn't be able to do a water park at this time of year. The baby will be 14 months and possible walking. But December 2007 is so far away!

What would you do?

That is a tough choice but I would go with May because:

You can do the water park, hurricanes really aren't a factor during May, they have the flower and Garden festival, if you plan it for the right weekend you could go for Mother's day and celebrate your first Mother's Day at WDW.

While September would still be warm enough for the water park i wouldn't want to have to worry that a possible hurricane might disrupt my vacation. Plus if you have gone before why not try something new!

It is a tough call but I would say May!

Sept is probably one of the best months to go to WDW, IMO. But, as posted before, hurricanes are a definite threat. There is always the possiblility that one could hit during or before your trip, and that could cause some stress.

I would have to go with Dec. Even though it's a long way away, it'll be worth it to see WDW at Xmas. It's stunning!!

I've never been to WDW in May, so I can't comment on that.

Whatever you chose, you'll have a magical time!! And congrats with having a baby!!

December 2007 is a long way away but you'll be pretty busy until then. Your baby will keep your mind off of Disney for a while. We usually go the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The crowds are at a minimum and the holiday decorations are beautiful. I wish you the best.

Well we have never gone in Dec. so I can't say much for that. We are going in Dec. this year for the first time...I would NOT go in May. No way. MUCH more crowded than Sept. or Dec. I would choose one of those if crowds are a big thing. Dec. could be warm enough for a water park, and the baby would be walking well by then which is always nice. We went in May last year and while it was nice, it was MUCH more crowded than Sept. We LOVE Sept.
