Hey Colorado, we'll be there around the same time as you! We're caravaning out with another family from Colorado Springs and stopping off in Las Vegas for a night and Malibu for a couple of days, then Sea World and finishing up from May 30 - June 3 at Disneyland!

My dh and I are from So. Cal. and lived there again last year for awhile and we went a few times but now we're taking our kids and it will be our grandaughter's first visit - she'll be almost 4.

Maybe we'll see you there!

Ok, now I am scared! We were hoping it would be a quiet time but if the on-site hotels are booked I am afraid of crowds!!! We booked using DVC points and were even able to get a standard view at that time, the hardest to get.

I was worried at first but then I thought that it may not be that bad since there are only 3 hotels. Do the crowds get that bad? I have been since I was young.

I just checked earlier (curious about the same thing) and rooms are available between May 8-12...

can't worry about it now!

Regardless, we'll all have fun!

I was also getting worried. I still think it will be ok. Spring break will be over. Kids aren't out of school yet and the parks hours are regular times for closing so DL doesn't think that it will be crazy with people.

Hi there everyone! I'm brand new here & I really hope that I am doing this right! I have been reading the boards for quite awhile now, gathering info & thought I should just jump in. First of all, thank you to everyone for all of your wonderful posts that have helped us plan our trip to DL. This is the first trip to DL that DH & I are taking with the kids (DS~8, DD~5) so I want to get everything right! They are so excited!

I will print it out at take it with me and act as the new Disneyland bouncer...if you aren't on the "List", you aren't allowed in.

Now, if I can only figure out a way to get a police baton and taser past the security guards so I can enforce this list.

We're at Sea World on May 29th after 2 beach days in and around Malibu. We'll do San Diego and Laguna Beaches on the 30th and then we'll check into the Dessert Inn and Suites for our Disneyland Fun!

We'll be traveling with our grown daughter, 24, and son, 19 and grandaughter, 3 1/2 and friends with 12 yo and 17 yo daughters.

We would love to meet up and say Hi - I'll have to find myself one of those lime-green Mickeys!

LOL!!!! DH is in law enforcement, and I would have access to the baton, taser, and many other "special" things. But, since DL is "The happiest place on earth", I think I'll just show up with the family and a digital camera!!!

If I couldn't get any of the premade ones, I would do the same. Home Depot near us had quite a few of them. Hmmmm...maybe I should pick up a bunch and start mailing them out to the folks who don't live near a Home Depot. I'll get back to everyone on that!

How about those of us who have 2 HDs near us, but I swear, the Alien Green ones are always out-of-stock!!! Somebody who lives near me is pilfering all the LGMHs. Or, the HD employees have caught on and you have to ask for one sample of it. LOL
