thanks for the PP tips! did you walk straight to the main gate through GC or would it be closer to get on the monorail?

we get the free stroller rentals with our Disney Visa, but what we learned when we stayed at the DLH in Dec 05 was that it was a really long walk without one. on our last trip, we brought a cheap umbrella stroller to use back and forth from the hotel to the park...and just parked it in tomorrowland all day once we got the nicer rental.

We did both. Some times we used the monorail, other times the main gate. We really love going thru the main gate and up mainstreet, so we did that most days. Most nights we used the monorail to get back.

As a WDW vet, I've been quietly reading these boards to learn about DLR before a Mother's Day gift trip with my mom 5/12-5/18. We're staying at the DLH. Thanks to the boards, I've been able to set up our touring plan, including a side trip to San Diego Zoo. We've never been to the CA, so we're really looking forward to it!

We'll be there the 4th - 19th but will only be at DL until the 7th. My DH has a conference in San Diego. We just booked this yesterday and there were no rooms available on site. We're staying at the Anaheim Marriott Suites. Can anyone tell me how this hotel is?

Ok, now I am scared! We were hoping it would be a quiet time but if the on-site hotels are booked I am afraid of crowds!!! We booked using DVC points and were even able to get a standard view at that time, the hardest to get.
