May/June Codes watch....

If they do, it will be the result of people "cheating" the system :( It really bothers me when everyone is punished because of people trying to get away with something. CMs really need to look at check-in.

I hope I was politically correct in that statement. I don't want to start something.

On DDE they are taking vouchers but you have to have the voucher so maybe that is the plan (Vouchers have a number on them)

Also, the agent on the "other board" is pretty much on my don't use list. I saw a therad where she struck me as downright snippy. If I am paying you for a service you don't get to be snippy LOL!

Can I ask what is a voucher as opposed to a AP? I mean I know what the word "voucher" means but wouldn't you activate it when you go to WDW so that you can enter the parks? What am I missing?
And to get an AP code, only one person in your party has to have an AP? Or does everyone? Thanks. :teeth:

Ugh! I hope they will accept vouchers. I talked to a cm on Monday who put a hold on a room with AAA discount. She told me that if ap codes come out, I could switch my ressies to the code, and buy my vouchers in the same phone call. :guilty: I haven't bought my vouchers yet, so it wouldn't be that bad. But I would feel terrible for people who have vouchers and couldn't book the discount. I hop that info is wrong.

This is the board that had the rumor last year and I (we) knew several days in advance. That's why I really wondered if last Sunday was the day. I got up anyway though :rotfl:

Someone else posted that for winter codes, they showed up on this board first a few days before and they were accurate.

I remember that rumor last year and they were correct. I just forgot about that site. Let's hope AP discounts are out this Sunday!!

Could this be the confusion? Current passholders with activated passes can book a day earlier than those with vouchers?

So there are rumors that they will be asking for AP confirmation when booking now vs at arrival. Anyone know yeh or neh on that? I can go ahead and buy dh's but not all ours yet. If so, I won't have the voucher yet though right? Will they even accept an unactivated AP meaning just the voucher for reserving?

K.

If this helps, I called Sunday to give WDW my flight numbers for Magical Express. He said if I need help with park passes, Cirque du Soleil, etc . to let them know. I mentioned that I would be buying AP's & he said I would need an activated one to check-in. So according to HIM you could book AP rate with a voucher (or w/o having it yet) but you'd need to drop off your stuff & go and get it activated first. I have heard that they will let you come back to the front desk later in th e day to show it activated or they will charge you rack rate at check out. I have to say the the constant conflicting information from Disney CM's is really getting irritating.

As of 9:30pm, no codes yet. I was on hold for 15 minutes though before I spoke with a CM. The message stated "heavy call volume."

:earseek: What about Fl. Residents rate? Could they be not so far behind? :confused3

I just called again and was told there were no discounts and code EWY was not in the system yet!

Rumor has it:

The Florida Resident code is EWZ.

The Annual Passholder code is EWY.

After waiting 20 minutes on hold, I, too, was told that the EWY code was not a "proper" code. The CM I spoke to - Abe - even inquired of his manager and was told that the code was not a good one. They kept on insisting that I tell them where I got the code from.

Sounds like some got lucky and that maybe the rest of us will have to try again tomorrow and maybe we'll get lucky, too.
