May/June Codes watch....

Just called for the AP codes. Might come out at the end of this month!

We can only hope!!! Last year I think it was around the first or second week of March. Patience and flexibility as far as where you want to stay has always worked for me. We are hoping for the Poly or GF!!!

Questions on codes...I have CBR perferred room booked at rack rate.I tried did not have a AAA card then when I called back for our perferred room AAA was no longer available. I do want perferred secondary to my young kids and my mom's preference so if codes do come out will I be able to even use them if perferred is already booked. I am still hoping for code for the Broardwalk Inn.

What date did you try for the AAA rate and it was no longer available? I am waiting for room only rates, but figured I could get a AAA discount if nothing else. We need a room (and was hoping for CBR) on Friday, June 17th (one night only).

If there aren't any rooms available, a code cannot be applied to an existing reservation. A room has to be available in order for a code to be "applied". That is why so many of us are saying only book what you would be willing to pay, otherwise Disney will have no reason to discount any rooms if they are all booked at rack rate.

I was just on the phone with CRO and I asked about general public codes for the summer. He said they usually come out at the beginning of the season prior. He said that peak season begins on 2/17/05, so the summer codes should be out somewhere at the end of Feb or beginning of March I guess we pretty much already knew that, but I just wanted to update everyone straight from the horse's mouth

I tried for AAA rate for July 18th yesterday and couldn't get it for ASMo...I will keep calling back to check though. I did book it for rack rate though, because we can stay a bit longer if we split our stay between ASMo and WL.
Still hoping for room only codes!!!!!

AAA rate for CBR was available for other rooms just not perferred rooms. It was June 11-18th. Anyone else know the answer to my question above if codes do come out can you apply them if the perferred rooms are already sold out but you have one already.

HI all. We are planning on going June4th for 6 nights. I am also waiting on codes! If we go ahead and book CBR (Disneyworld.com has it listed for $149/nt), if codes come out and we want to switch to WL, will I be able to? I'm pretty sure that I can, but I wanted to verify with the experts! Also, is booking online at disneyworld.com o.k. to do, even if I call back with changes using the code?

Mar915, you can apply a code to a perferred room if they are offering a code for that room. For instance you are staying at CBR. They might offer codes for bothe perferred or standard rooms or just one or the other. It is up to Disney to determine what room type and which resorts to open to the codes. That is why you should make a list of where you would like to stay. That way when you call you can ask about other resorts as well. Who knows you might end up in a deluxe for a very close rate to a moderate. I hope I explained it okay for you.

Anyone else booking 'backup' rooms? We have AAA, so I am thinking that maybe we should book at Pop Century with the AAA for the night we need a room in June, and then if and when the codes come out we can change it to CBR. I would rather just wait for the codes, but I am starting to wonder if there will be codes, and I didn't realize that the AAA rate rooms would fill up also.

Anyone else doing this?

I'm looking into off site hotels as a backup. Two out of our 4 children are now considered adults and we cannot swing paying rack rate - even at the value resorts. I'm hoping that a code comes out soon and so we won't have to go off site.

I tried to get poly garden view with AAA-not available
tried to get poly concierge AAA rate -not available
cont. concierge AAA gone as well.

I missed the boat, should of booked AAA as backup

I don't want to stay at AK, and grand floridian is to $$$ for me. Want to stay on rails though...
think I am going to keep calling back hoping someone cancels
