May/June Codes watch....

talked with sweet cm yesterday. she said codes will not be out until March.

I tried to get poly garden view with AAA-not available
tried to get poly concierge AAA rate -not available
cont. concierge AAA gone as well.

I missed the boat, should of booked AAA as backup

I don't want to stay at AK, and grand floridian is to $$$ for me. Want to stay on rails though...
think I am going to keep calling back hoping someone cancels

Did you try getting GF at AAA discount. It might be cheaper than paying full rate at one of the other monorail hotels. We have AAA rate for GF lagoon view. Still hopping for AP rates though.

I was also told codes will not be out till March. The CM recomended we make our reservations because they are filling up fast! Im afraid to wait any longer and have to pay more for our room elsewhere. Im going to have to add 5 more nights onto our 6 nights deal before its to late.

I hope they comeout a little sooner. I made my reservations already and hope to apply the code so we can stay a little longer even if we have to switch hotels.

If rooms are filling up fast why would they offer codes at all? That's what worries me!

That's right, they won't offer a discount if they don't need to.

OK, I just got chicken about waiting so I reserved a room at Pop Century for June 17th and they did still have the AAA rate left (with tax it will be a little less than $100). If the codes come out, we will move up to the CBR, but at least I know I have a room when I arrive.

Now I feel better.

I'm hoping even though some rooms are filling up, maybe its the lower end like values & mods, and maybe they'll offer codes to encourage people to upgrade and free up more of the lower end rooms. I don't know, just hoping for something!!! We weren't even able to secure AAA rooms so I'm not real happy paying $110 per night for POP! We have two rooms (two families) for 8 nights so that's quite a chunk of money!

Did you try for AAA rates at the other Value Resorts? My cost (with the AAA) for June 17th at Pop Centuray is $84 plus tax (total $94). It would probably be the same at the All Stars if they have the AAA rate available. It might be worth a try.

My co-worker got postcard for mid-april thru July. Sweet thing's never been to Disney and has no knowledge of all things Mouse so she brought me the postcard. She thought I could use it! How I wish!!

What I would like to know is if you call & ask if there is any code for your name and there is.....why are you not actually getting the e-mail or the postcard? Are you supposed to figure it out by mental telepathy? Why put a code to someone's name and not let them know. It doesn't make sense.

The only thing I can see is that Disney would maybe have a wrong/old address or e-mail address.

If Disney would put a code attached to your name, but have your e-mail address wrong in their system....you would never receive the e-mail.

Another reason would be if you have some sort of spam filter. My local ISP uses Postini to filter spam on our accounts. If I don't go check my "spam" box, I'll never see an e-mail that Postini might think is spam....when it really isn't.

I just noticed that I received an e-mail back in September 2004 with a PIN attached to it. I just called WDW to see if I might have another PIN on my name, but no luck. My pin expired back in November 2004.

The CM was nice enough to check everyone in my party to see if any of them had a PIN. Again, no luck.

Looks like we will be booking at AAA rate. She said that ASMo is booked at AAA rate...but, PC and ASMu is available.....

We are planning a May 16th - 20th trip! I have not booked a room yet, but we are flexible as to where we stay....just as long as it is a Disney Resort. We are waiting for AP or FL resident discounts and then we will decide where to stay. Here's hoping for a little pixie dust for us all!

i already have my room at AKL at a nice price- with code- but now my bro in law is coming - family of 4. i called yesterday, cheapest they had was $239 nite for pool view. i'm much less than that for savannah view!

any suggestions/ ideas??
