NJMom, I know how you feel. I wanted to go the end of April but didn't want to book air until I knew I could get an AP or other type of discount on the room. While I waited rates went up and planes are booking. Now, I am thinking about June. It's a catch 22 isn't it?

I am so glad to see I'm not the only freak out there checking at least once a day for that darn code!
We are heading down May 15-21 -- DH's first trip, my 4th. Staying at AKL with just AAA discount is not gonna cut it!
here's hoping the code comes out sooner rather than later!

What is the order of the codes release? Isn't AP first, then what?

Disney Visa, Fl resident, Room only, others???

I think AP and Florida Resident Codes come out about the same time. Then Visa cardholders, then GP Codes.

In our paper today there is a special I have not seen before it is $414. for roundtrip air, 3 nights at POP and two day magic your way base ticket. I think it is a Southwest add though. It is above the Disney add.
This is per person based on double occupancy.

The part where you said, "It is above the Disney add." Where there another add other than this $414.00 one? What was the Disney add? Have to get out and drive about 7 miles to get a paper, just wondering is it worth the trip!!

How have the Visa cardholder discounts been? We're waiting for the codes too...we have AP so I'm assuming those rates are probably the best next to FL rates. Just curious about the Visa rates though. Thanks!

AmyBeth, last summer we paid just under $100 per night (including tax) for a moderate with Disney VISA code.

Last year the Disney Visa codes came out first,Feb 20th for general,Feb 21st for Florida residents/Disney Visa. The remaining codes AP,Florida Residents and General Room Only codes all came out on March 9,2004.

I wonder if Disney keeps a check on the number of people calling for discounted codes and asking when they will be announced.

I'm suprised more people aren't looking at the option of renting DVC points from the members so they can get the prices close to those they are holding out for from Disney. Considering how close it is getting to some people's trips. If the codes don't come out at all , or are much less than recent years I expect that the small surplus that exists on the rental boards will get sucked up very quickly.
