May have to postpone trip by a week - advice on FP+?

We are heading to WDW on April 23 UNLESS a certain basketball team is doing well, in which case we will have to postpone until May 1. But I won't know that until about mid-April. We are staying on property and have our FPs all scheduled for the April 23 trip. I'm worried that by mid-April, if we have to postpone, all the top FPs will be gone for May 1. Is that true? And if so, is there anything I can do to lock in some FPs for May 1-5 now?

FWIW, we don't care about A&E or parades/shows, but we would like to do all the roller coasters/mountains plus Soarin.

Super helpful, thanks! Maybe I should pull the trigger one way or the other 31 days before May 1, so that if I'm making new FPs for May 1 then at least I'm beating the 30-day crowd.
