May half term - what time for dinner

Hello
I am off to DLP in May half term week. I know it will be super busy so want to book up dinners etc.
My question is what time should I book the evening meal for if we want to see the Disney Magic parade?
How do I know what time the parade is in May half term and how long does it last etc.

I suspect by May half term that the parade will have moved to its summer slot ie around 7pm. The main park will be open until 11pm, Studios until 6pm or 7pm.

The park programme is updated on the official DLP website every week, so nearer the time of your trip you'll be able to see exactly what times you'll have. week beginning 26th May is the first week of the year that the park goes to 11pm closing time.

The parade is at 5:30pm for the duration of the 'Swing into Spring' festival, which runs until June. Im going in may and I've made all my dinner reservations for 6:30pm

are you sure about that? that hasn't been the case in previous years, when the park closes at 11pm with Dreams.

I was giving the same info last week - 5.30 for the parade till the end of Spring festival

hope that info was correct or all my ADR's will need changing!

Yeah I've read it in several different places. The parade is at 5:30 at the moment, you can see it on this week's schedule.

Oh boy, now I am concerned as to whether it is 5:30 or 7! I did some more googling and others are saying 7pm also. Do you know for sure it is 5:30 until June?
Why is this not an easy thing to find out? Really don't want to miss this parade as the girls are too young to stay up for the Dreams one.

you've got plenty of time - DLP isn't like WDW where you need to book your dining tables months in advance - a week or so will do fine for DLP .

I've also read that it will be on at 5.30 until the end of the Spring festival in June.

We're also going in half term and on the days we want to watch the parade we will be having lunch at Cafe Mickey and dinner at Plaza Gardens at 6 (we will watch the parade near where it starts then whizz over to PG).

You can always make your ADRs now, and change the time of the booking at a later date if needs be.

Ladt year it changed on the werkend of half tetm to the 7pm slot because the opening hours changed to 11pm. We were quite upset because the boys would be dead on their feet come parade time but we had to cancel the trip anyway I read it would change back to the summer slot from half term onwards??
