Well today is May Day and I'll offer you all a virtual sprig of Lily of the Valley which is the traditional gift today.

It brings joy and happiness for the coming year :goodvibes

Merci beaucoup and enjoy the garden. I'd swap you DLP for a garden :goodvibes

Yes it's May Day, unlike the UK which always has the first Monday off as May Day France has the 1st of May every year.

This year we got lucky as it wasn't a Sat/Sun (they don't get carried over here, so if it falls on a none working day tant pis we "lose" them)

Next Tuesday will be the same crowd wise as it's another day off :)

Thanks. I'll mark it in my calender as a day to avoid in future!

Thanks Carrie Cat and happy May day to you too. :goodvibes

Those waits didn't look too terrible considering it was a public holiday - nowhere near as bad as the day after ascension day last year. At a similar time of day even IASW was showing an hour!

Merci beaucoup Carrie! C'est très jolie!

Love Lily of the Valley - such a pretty flower :lovestruc.

Thanks Carrie and happy May Day to you too :goodvibes - well the rest of it now lol

Holiday in Italy as well, Brian and me has been to a fair and it was so crowded we found hard to walk. Well it was crowded till it started raining so hard we had to run back to the car lol

What kind of holiday will it be next Tuesday?? Next Itaian holiday will be June 2nd - republic day :goodvibes

Thank you Carrie and Happy May Day to you too,
that is busy isnt it, we were surprised last Thursday when we were there, We had no idea if it was a holiday or just something going on but the place was packed!!

The restaurants were heaving even at that time still and the DV was jammed. I think that was as many people, if nor more than last year, but because of the late night opening people weren't doing the parks in the same way as before. It will be interesting to see other peoples impressions after visiting on holidays :goodvibes
