May Crowds

Just planned my trip 5/28-6/4 and now I find out lots of things going on during that time: Gay Days, Star Wars Weekends, Flower show. Anyone know how much of an impact that will have on touring? Will it be like Jersey Week which I read gets very crowded or the cheerleaders that seem to take over the place, according to what I've read. Thanks!

Forgetting all of those events you realize you are going to be there over the Memorial day Holiday weekend.I have been at WDW once 10 years ago during that time and it was very busy.

Ooops! Forgot that one too!! Now I am getting a little concerned about crowds. Anyone ever experience all this at once?

Yes, May 2003 and May 2004 we arrived at the start of Memorial weekend. I never felt that it was too crowded. We just made sure to plan well. We never ever go to MK on a Saturday. Ever. No matter what time of year we visit. Arrive at the parks early, try for a mid-day break, make PS for every place you want to eat at (sit down). I love going at that time of year.

So many people worry about Gay Days...................there is NO need to be worried. Avoid MK on Saturday, period.

The Flower show is still happening at Epcot and it is beautiful! Does not impact crowds.

It WILL be busier over the weekend (not unmanageable, just busy) but you will notice a difference come Tuesday!

Plan everything. Expect to have fun!

Thanks for input, we are going may 28-june 6. I have heard not to bad. I already have a rough draft of the ps schedule--now just waiting for the 90 day mark. . . . . .
