May Crowds

We are planning a trip in May 2016, specifically around Memorial Day. I have read their are crowds in May, but not too bad. Has anyone been their in May and had first hand experience? Also what is the weather like? Extremely Hot yet?

We arrived on Memorial Day last year. We though it was the perfect time to go - the crowds were very manageable and the weather was gorgeous.
