may crowds

we are travelling to disneyland on the 10th may and getting very concerned on all the reports on high crowd levels! we went in may 2 years ago and it was very quiet, where are people getting all this information from and do you think it willl be busy? we are taking our children out of school just so we can get around the parks better!! help

Which part of May are you going? towards the end of May it's memorial weekend and the parks will be extremely busy that weekend (from around the 22nd) then it's half term here in the UK so many Brits will be going.

I also think the offers that disney have had are going to increase crowds.

the high crowd levels at the moment may be due to the spring break (??)
I'm hoping it will be quieter when we go on sunday
if you are staying on site take advantage of the early hours we usually do and then go back to hotel and pool until the evening

We have been twice at this time of year and it was always hit and miss as to what the crowd levels were like. Last year we hit the spring break and this made the parks busier, but then other days we went and it didn't seem to be that bad.
I would say don't worry about it and just take every day as it comes.
