Ok, guys- just don't yell over to me if you see me on a foot bridge! I'm so uncoordinated that I would fall off! It would be awesome if we could all run into each other. I'll make sure I wear my Dis visor or green Red Sox hat. Please just say hi if you see me! Besides the hat, I'm not thin, I have long-ish red hair, and I wear either black or purple glasses... and I will most likely be sweaty & scarfing down egg rolls. Such a lovely picture I paint of myself...

I'm so excited you booked the Wild Africa Trek!!! Your fans will be anxiously awaiting the details!!!

We had an early AM Segway tour at Epcot and we took a cab....MUCH less stress then waiting for transportation....it's worth the $$ to avoid the stress of being late...at least for me...

don't forget to post a pic of your Pedi....we have to see what color you got!

The Segway tour was a BLAST! I would highly recommend...

the only con was a portion of the time (30 minutes or so) was spent showing you how to use the Segway...of course that is needed, but if you have a large group I can see it taking a chunk of time away from the tour...luckily it was just 4 of us in our group...so we did a good bit of touring in and around the countries...
We had 2 CM's with us...they may have more CM's with bigger groups? If they do, then the time to learn to ride would not be an issue...
I did mention this to the CM. He said they were working on a Segway tour for people that already know how to use the Segway...I haven't seen it advertised...maybe for whatever reason, it never came to be.
But, just something I noticed, I would not stop anyone from taking it... it's soooo worth it...you learn cool stuff about the pavilions and you can't beat the fun riding on a Segway!!

I am catching up again.... Awesome news on receiving your lens on time April. Now you can get even more fantastic photos on your trip. I am also excited to see that you booked the Wild Africa Trek. I am interested in hearing about it and seeing your pictures. I am curious if they restrict what you bring as well along the lines of camera equipment. Oh, did you find out if it included a photopass CD as well?

I have been reding on these boards & other about the photopass cd & the reports vary. Some people say that it includes ALL photopass photos from your trip & others say it is only the photos from the Trek. I will find out as soon as I get back & will definitely let you know.

I'm so excited! I looked at the weather today & so far it is looking good- but there is a good chance of rain on our AK day. I'll have to bring a bag to protect my camera! I bought a poncho on ebay for $1.87.

I finally heard from my friend last night. She sounded like she needs this vacation more than I do!!! She called at 9pm- at that time she was *just* walking from the subway to her apartment. After talking with her for a while, she sounded SO excited to take this trip. That made me feel even more happy about everything, so everything has fallen into place.
I have my mani/pedi on Monday at 9am, then the rest of the day to hover over Isis before either staying up all night to leave for the airport at 3am or to sleep about 2 hours before leaving at 3am. I might tweet a little & post some photos taken with my phone while I'm there. If so, it will be @aprilisis. I think I have to approve people to follow me in order for them to see my tweets, so you might want to request to follow before I leave if you are interested at all.

Oh! I also forgot to mention that I will be bringing a pedometer to measure just how much walking I do in WDW.

Goodness, it certainly does sound like your friends needs this vacation too. I'm glad to hear that she's excited about going with you.

I'd vote for getting those 2 hours of sleep before you leave. Those two hours may help you have a boost of energy later that evening.

I agree with you about the 2 hours of sleep. I'm definitely going to try to sleep! I will post the distances from the pedometer each day. I'm just curious to know how much walking we actually do.
