May and EMH at the Studios

Hi,

I've just checked out the opening times for May 2008 and the EMH's to see how they tie in with my planned itinerary.

Everything seems to work quite well, but I have one minor concern and wanted your opinions please!

We were planning to only visit MGM (I can't remember its new name!!! ) from lunchtime, but it turns out that it is early opening on the day we have chosen, and I was wondering whether you thought it was a bad move to arrive there at midday - will it be too busy???

(MGM is our least favourite, so we are only planning to visit that one day - mainly for the DS4 to do the Honey I shrunk the kids set, see Lightning Mcqueen if he's about, eat at SCi-FI and then catch Fantasmic) - But will Fantasmic be a nightmare on a EMH day???

ANy advice appreciated - I hope I have made sense and not waffled too much!!

MGM is our least favorite park as well ...When visited MGM this past May (during am EMH) arriving about 10:30am the park was already packed...line for RNR was already 50-60 minutes as well as the other major rides...we ended up not getting to ride as much as we wanted to because of the crowds...next time I think I will plan MGM on a NON-EMH day...just my opinion. What ever you do...HAVE FUN!!

Last May the day we went to MGM was our sleep in day, since MGM can really be done in half of a day. We went around 12:00-noon. It was not an EMH day. I was worried that the lines would be long by this time of day, but it really wasn't bad at all. But like I said, it wasn't an EMH day either. We avoid EMH's whenever possible!

thank you both for that - I was worried about the EMH - so I will definitely change MGM to a non EMH day!!!!

I will also pop over to the May thread - I didn't know such a thing existed - even more time on the Dis then!! - Oh Well if I must!!!
