I haven't seen a thread for this cruise yet, so here's a start. Would love to meet other folks who are cruising with us!

I'm traveling with my husband and 4 year-old daughter for our first Disney cruise. It's our daughter's first cruise, but she's already a Disney World veteran. She can't wait to see Mickey again!

We will be on this cruise also. It will be me, my husband and my 2 sons (age 4 & 6). We are WDW veterans also but this is our first cruise. Our stateroom is on Deck 5 in one of the SPH rooms. We are so excited for this new adventure! We are ultra planners when it comes to WDW but I am trying to over plan the cruise. I know we won't be able to see and do everything in just 3 short days.

We will be going to WDW after our cruise for a few days to enjoy Star Wars Weekends- my boys are obsessed!

Myself, My daughter (13) and my Mom will also be on this cruise! It is our Mother's Day girls trip . We've all been to WDW many times but this will be our first Disney cruise and we are all sooo excited! I've been reading all of the DIS DCL tips and I'd love to find or start a Fish Extender group if anyone else is interested??

Nice to meet you all! Too funny - I didn't even realize this cruise was over Mother's Day; seems like a nice additional reason to celebrate!

I've been reading about the FE tradition, it sounds like it could be fun - if it's a relatively low key one! Although so far, it looks like we might be a small group regardless!

I was wondering if there would be any special events planned for Mother's Day. Or maybe a special spa treatment package?

We are planning to stay on the ship while in Nassau just so we can take advantage of all there is to do. Seasoned cruisers- thoughts?

I would be interested in the FE group too- as long as it's not too extensive. I'm not sure how many people usually participate but like CanWeGoNow mentioned there are only a few of us so far!

My boys are getting really excited about the "Big Mickey Boat". I am too, except I am still a bit nervous about getting sea sick. Any one else?

Is anyone else extended their trip by going to WDW after the cruise?

Well looks like a few of us are interested in FE . I would be happy to put a list together! Just PM me your info or post onto this thread and I will get started. Lets make a closing date of April 5th. That will only give us one month from our sail date but should be okay as long as it doesn't get too out of hand .

Kimbe21 - Ooo, I hope they'll do something special on the ship for Mothers Day. I bet you're right - it will probably be a spa package. Maybe a tea somewhere?

We're also planning to stay on the boat in Nassau - we've stopped there on cruises a couple of times, and we decided we just want to stay in the pool and relax that day. Looking forward to Castaway Cay, though - the thought of a hammock and hot sand are a great mental escape in the middle of the snow we're having now.

- Ages/Genders/Names of those participating. (if you are not comfortable with giving names - no problem - ages/gender is fine - whatever you are comfortable with)
- Any other information you would like to include such as favorite characters/birthdays/etc.
- Also - please include your email in your private message. I will not post it to this thread but I would like to make a final list to email to everyone participating.

hello everyone me and my husband have cruised disney before(10 years ago)but kids have not yet girl age 7 and boy 4 they do not know yet which was good when we had to change from our last cruise dates to this one. they have watched video and really want to go we have avenger and toy story fans so they are going to love it. Joined fish extender group and am looking forward to it.

ness0905 - kids that old and you've been able to keep it a secret? That is VERY impressive - your kids are going to go wild when they find out! When are you planning to tell them?

Sounds like kimbe21's family and ours is staying on the boat in Nassau - anyone else? Anyone have excursions planned, or secret beach spots in Nassau they're headed to?

Hi! This is my first FE and first cruise so I don't know a lot about it myself but I really don't think that you have to spend a lot to do it. My mom is super crafty so she is putting together most of our gifts. I think whatever you are comfortable with. I just think it will be fun to share a little something with other people who love Disney as much as our family does. Right now, there are only about 5 families participating but I'm expecting that there will be a few more.

Our family of 5 (mom, dad, DD (15), DD (12), DS (7)) will be on the cruise. We are so excited and can hardly wait. It will be our kids first cruise and the first Disney cruise for the entire family. We are going to DW beforehand and then on to the cruise. The trip is to celebrate my Master's Degree (hopefully, I finish before then!!)

My kids love the FE idea and they really want to participate. Being new to the boards, I can't PM so an email would be great.
