yeah so.. i just realized we are in Florida the week of 5/15. Meaning we won't be home for the Police Memorial Week Ceremony, which I never miss. So yeah.. I totally just emailed Disney CS asking what THEY will be doing in honor of this week so I can make sure I attend it..

That would be nice if they did something. When I lived in DC one summer I made my way to the Memorial, rubbed some names from my father's department (I only knew of the one officer killed when I was younger, his kids and I were the same age and played together). I never knew long long long ago another officer was killed. I brought the department back some items along with the rubbings. My dad I got him a coffee table book. It is a beautiful memorial. I wasn't there though for the ceremonies.

OMG my wife has had us packed and unpacked and repacked twice already! We are leaving on the 4th. Driving from Ohio to Kissimmee. Spending 2 days at Disney and a day at the hotel chilling before the cruse.

I'm just loving flying on Southwest for the first time. 2 bags free each person! This SHOULD be the easiest packing job ever!!! How long is your drive and do you stop somewhere? One of these days I'd like to drive down but then I think it is a wasted 4 days for us (both ways total). Are you guys staying at a port hotel the night before or the resort area?

Read back a couple of pages (sorry I don't know which as I type this). We were devising plans for deterring people from stealing magnets from our doors and I mentioned putting a dye pack on em so when they got down the hall it would explode all over them. That evolved into pretending it was a little pixie dust


Are the birthdays and celebrations up to date on the list, too?

We have a total of 8 room that will be in the fish extender. All is up to date as of now. Birthdays and celebrations. We are wating for 1 room assignment. Also have added a room (friends of threebrits) that don't know about it, that is the pixie dust room. Without them knowing about it, they will not have a FE hanging outside their door. Just thought it would be fun to put them on there and spread the magic

I will say that I am doing a tinker bell and a Rapunzel magnet for her and she picked Ariel as the theme for our fish extender. She's bringing her Cinderella dress on board for pictures. And she picked monsters inc for the theme for her birthday party at home. She'd be happy with anything

I have to share a funny story...

We were getting ready today and she was telling me all about turning 3 and how she's going on mickeys boat. VERY talkative for an almost three year old! She told me that she's going to say cheese on mickeys boat. I was confused and asked her what she meant and she told me that she wanted to get her pictures taken with the princesses. That was cute but we've talked about that before so no big surprise there. So then I asked what princesses she wanted to get her pictures with and she said Cinderella & Belle. I asked what about Ariel because she's been on a little mermaid kick lately and her response was, "Silly mommy. Ariel's not on the boat. She's in the water!" Hahahaha! She got me on that one!

LOL I never knew it took place in Ohio. I have never watched it.

The trip will take us 18 hr or so. We are leaving late at night with the kids sleeping. (we hope) Stopping in NC about the half way point early in the day and let the kids unwind, swim in the pool. We are staying in Kissimmee Sun - Thurs morning. Doing 1 day at MK and 1 day at DHS. Would love to fly but with 5 of us it was better for us to do it this way. Oct we are doing a RC cruse out of Port Canaveral and may fly then. The grandkids are "practicing not using" their electronic devices.
