I WISH that I was creative! I can only dream........ I am hoping to participate in the FE stuff, but am trying to get an FE. I'm waiting to hear back from an ebayer about estimated delivery. Wanna make a few extra bucks and create one for me too?

They're "fish extenders". You can purchase them on eBay. Just look up that name on there. The ones on there are Disney themed and have anywhere from 3-5 pockets so that other DISers can leave you "gifts" if they want. It hangs on the stateroom fish outside the room, or so it looks from the pics that I've seen. Here's an example of one on eBay:

Oh, and I need some SERIOUS help making magnets. I am absolutely clueless as to what to do (yes, I apparently am lacking the crafty gene!), but would love to do some for our door. Is there anyone that can help me and tell me exactly what to do. We're talking step.by.step!

WooHoo I just ordered a FE off of ebay. I paid $0.01!!!! Then of course there is $7.99 for shipping. LOL But still for $8.00 we are all set. It's not a nice handmade one but it will do the job. The seller has more available is anyone wants one. I have never bought from this seller but they have very good feedback. Here is the link to the one I bought but she has others available also.

Yeah, that's the one that I was looking at yesterday (I hate paying $30 for a monogrammed one! ), but was a little concerned with the shipping since it's coming from Australia. Yes, I know that the trip is a month away, but how long to things typically take to get to the US? Any clues? If you know Grumpymom, I'm so ordering it, although I doubt that I'll pay a cent since I don't want to wait for it to expire. It will probably be $1.99 for me as a BIN!

The payment received email I received said that it would be shipped within 48 hours and delivery took 7 - 14 business days. So I should be good. If you look at the sellers comments people talked about receiving items very quickly, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I don't know if you noticed but the seller also has a pink Mickey FE available. I thought your DD might like that and maybe could use it in her room after the cruise. Since I have all boys I had no choice but to go with the blue.

I agree with you I loved the personalized ones, but $30 plus shipping was just too much for a 3 day cruise.

Thanks!! Yes, definitely two people praying is the way to go.......here's hoping that our FE's make it "across the pond", otherwise you may see a WalMart bag hanging on mine!

Ok, now I've ordered my stuff for the FE exchange!! How many of each item are you going to get? I know that it depends on how many people wind up signing up. I certainly don't want anyone to be left out, but don't want to order too much either. I got mine off of eBay and Oriental Trading. If anyone is running short on something, then just don't worry about me. Give it to my dd instead!

I know I was looking for FE gift ideas when I went shopping today too. I decided to wait until I knew how many people are going to join in. So far I believe the following posters have agreed to the FE exchange. If I left anyone out please let me know. This is just to give us an idea.

Thanks for the list Grumpymom! I picked up a few things yesterday, but I'm also waiting to see how many we have total. I'm trying to think of a local item that I can use that would be fun. I ordered a FE from a Diser, and received it on Thurs. It wasn't quite what I expected, so I'm going to modify it a bit so I have exactly what I want.

The countdown continues and we should receive our documents in another week or so!!!!! Can't wait!

BTW, is anyone bringing a pillowcase or other item to be autographed by the characters? I'm really excited to do this for Emily. I know that you put the pillowcase in a ziploc bag with markers if you want and some people have suggested leaving a little "treat" as a thank you in the bag. Does anyone what would be the absolute BEST type of markers for this? Fabric markers maybe? Thanks for any help!
