well, we got a group rate, our price includes all tips, motorcoach, port taxes for cat. 6 and we are paying $1900 for two, so I guess that is a good price..

I am really looking forward to meeting some of you. My dd5 really enjoyed the Mickey pool last cruise - so I am sure that we will be hanging out there most of the time. I am hoping that she will be more interested in the club this time (fingers crossed) - last time she would not let me leave her, so we skipped it. Hopefully some of us with young dd - can introduce them so maybe we will have some playmates! How will know each other on the cruise?

As for our room Cat.4 Deck 8 - we really didn't have a choice when we booked because the lower categories were sold out and we have 5 people. My dh bought the trip as a gift for me - and I am not really even sure of the costs! I am sure it was ugly but we really need a vacation!

Hi rejobako - I booked it I believe last May!!! Maybe even April I can't remember it's been so long. And like I said I booked a Cat 7 and got the upgrade. The price on AST was $2464 which my TA matched so you did better if you booked a Cat 6 for less. We're doing the land/sea did I mention that? Maybe that's what the difference is? Are you doing a land/sea or just 4 night cruise? I just can't wait to go that's all I know. I'm very excited because this is my first cruise and first time to an island.

currygina: I'm LOLing at your username; my wife's name is Regina, and every now and then she'll cook something with curry in it just to see if I'll notice, as she knows it's the one spice I don't particularly care for (but the rest of the family likes).

Sounds like we have dd's who are the same age. My daughter is usually pretty good at making new friends, and she's not particularly shy around strangers (which actually worries us at times), so I think your idea is a good one.

diz I don't know whether the land/sea package affects the cruise price; regardless, I think you got a reasonably good deal in comparison to other rates I've seen quoted. We're just doing the cruise in May; we live here in Florida, and we have a Marriott timeshare in Orlando, so we get to do the parks and attractions fairly often.

rejobako - Lucky you!! I would love to be able to visit the parks more often!!! I love everything Disney!! Haven't been to Universal yet but I'm sure it's fun too.

rejobako...I think you got a good deal... I am hoping with you that there is a Fla. Res. discount coming up... Every time in the past that we cruised in May there was... so here's hoping pixie dust wiill come our way...

I am looking forward to meeting everyone... As time gets closer we will need to schedule a time and place... I will have on my lime green DIS pin lanyard, If we could all wear lime green ribbons, I know that the first day is busy, but it would be a great time for the kids to meet so maybe they will have a friend for the clubs...

Most of my group are adults, but we do have a two teens. one 12f and one 14M, I am hoping they will make friends to hang out with...

I am so ready to be on the boat deck 4 lounge chairs and a book...

I have been so worried that while he is off doing his thing I will be "Wonder"ing around aimlessly. I am soo happy to catch this thread and its thanks to Dizprincess for that I found your earlier thread where you thought you were alone on the boat. I would love to meet up with a few of you for dinner at Palo. Just in case any of you single mom's or mom's period are wondering... there are supposed to be some surprises on board for us since it is Mother's Day . IS IT MAY YET?????

I'm glad you found the post to join us. Are you going to be on the May 8th sailing? That was pretty funny when it was just Bobbi and myself. We really thought we'd have the ship to ourselves darn It's much more fun to meet other people though and it's been so much fun talking to everyone on these boards. I didn't realize that there would be Mothers Day stuff on board though but that sounds good to me. We could use a nice little surprise. You are more than welcome to join us for Palos if you wish. How cdool.....I was wondering if they would do anything for us "Moms" onboard. In fact, I was going to post over on the other board to see whqt they have done in the past for Mother's Day. For some reason, I feel like I remember reading from a few years ago, that they did nothing and that some people were disappointed (but I can't remember if that is true or if my memory is p[laying tricks on me).

Add us to list of people on this ship .... DW (37) & myself (40) will be cruising on the Wonder May 8.

I booked last year and grabbed one of the "secret porthole rooms"... It's our second Disney cruise and had the same room but on the other side last time.

We don't have any kids so we will be hanging out mostly by the adult pool ... we are shooting for Palos for brunch and dinner one night.

You'll be able to tell it's us because it will be two people who are still so in love with each other and celebrating 15 years of marriage and bliss. Also, she'll be sipping "Bloody Marys" and I'll be sipping "Old Fashions".

Man, I can't wait for this trip to get here ... after the cruise, on to WDW and staying at the BWV (DVC members).

Welcome Villiandude - that's so funny how you found our old thread and it was strange that only bobbi and myself replied. Awww shucks and we really thought we were sailing alone No truly speaking for us both, it's so much fun talking to others on the same cruise and sharing the excitement. I'm sure and your wife will have a blast!!

Julie is right it is fun communicating with others on this board. So many people in my life are getting tired of my excitement over the cruise . (my mother says it sounds like I am going this weekend, I think she is just jealous hehehe)

Welcome Villain Dude! I am also getting (or have already been) so excited about this cruise!!!! Starting to already make my packing lists and shop for all of my family (except DH.....he can do his own!!!!!)

What excursions is everyone doing in nassau? We can't decide....we keep going back and forth and changing our minds.
